Commissions

To volunteer for a commission, stop in at City Hall for an application.
All meetings are open to the public.

Historical Society

The City is now forming a Historical Society. If interested in becoming a member, please call Debbie at (734) 642-7292. We are also collecting old photos and history. We will make copies of all items submitted and return to provider.

The City Beautification Commission

Meets the first Monday of each month at 7:00 at City Hall. Commissioners: Florence Jagielski, Sharon Legault, Marilyn Peacock, Dorothy Wood

The City Beautification Commission always needs both male and female volunteers. The Commission plans the projects and also does the work. All of the plants, flowers, and decorating by the lighthouse and bridges at the corner of Middle Gibraltar Road are the work that the commission puts together. If you would like to volunteer for this commission, applications are at City Hall. For information, call (734) 676-3900.

The City Recreation Commission

Meets the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 at the Community Center. Commissioners: Michael Boyer, Yvonne Cancilliari, Debra Centerbury, Kim Casteel, Tamey Gorris, Patrice McAuliff, Deonna Pruett

The City Recreation Commission always needs input from all members on he direction of the City's Recreation programs for both children and adults. Interested persons can obtain an application at City Hall or call (734) 676-3900 for further information.
